Frost yesterday
We had a light frost yesterday morning. Didn't hurt the tomato plants. Temperature at the airport was 36 degrees.

I'm interested in stone fruits for the Central Valley and in gardening for the kitchen. Plus family recipes and simple fare. Mostly.
Some of the recipes here have notes for those allergic to corn, eggs, milk or wheat. There are also a few notes for people susceptible to migraine and those with diabetes, plus some more general notes on health and nutrition.

I may "tweak" past blog entries long after they were written as I gain experience with recipes, etc. I'll send any changes if you leave a comment on the relevant post.
